Just a thought

Today, Marty, Andrew and I went to have lunch with Abby at her school. She was the star student of the week so we thought it would be a nice way to end her special week. On the way back to work I started thinking what it would be like if we were still back in Georgia. I take Abby to school in the morning because it’s on my way to work and her school is only 5 miles from the office. I can run down there for lunch and class parties. On Tuesday they had a FunRun that I was able to go to. May 9th is Field Day and again I will be there. Back in Georgia, I would have had to miss all of this. My office was so far away from where her school would have been that it would have been really difficult for me to make it to anything. Isn’t it funny how things work out?

Andrew's Birthday Party

Well, Andrew's birthday party was a huge success and the best thing about it was that I didn't have to clean before or after the party. YIPPEE!! We had his party at Pump it Up which is a jumpy place and I believe everyone in Abby's class has had their party there. I'm sure Abby will too when the time comes. Andrew has been able to tag along to the birthday parties that Abby was invited to and insisted on having his party at Pump it Up. He was so excited about it. We had a good number there, not too crazy and not too small. We let Abby invite some of her friends from school so we had friends, class mates and teachers there. It was a great group.

You're not going to do that to me are you?

We're in trouble

All the friendsSpiderman, of courseYummy

Happy birthday Roo

How, how is it possible that my baby is 3 years old today? How did he turn from that squishy rolly baby into such a handsome little man? He has completely stolen my heart and I don’t foresee getting it back anytime soon. He is so much fun and so funny, such a joy to be around. Thank you Andrew for completing our family. At the time we didn’t know we were incomplete but you did, and we were so wrong. I love you. Happy birthday baby Roo.

Pictures from his party will come next week.

Healthy teeth

First I need to apologize for being MIA. I have taken over some of my old job duties (the ones I asked to take with me when we first moved here) and my time at work is quite busy now.
Abby had a dentist appointment on Tuesday and I am happy to report that she had no cavities. YIPPEE!! That is a huge improvement from our last visit. I'm not real sure what happened to the 2 cavities that the first dentist we went to "saw" but this is the second visit at the new dentist and he hasn't seen them either time. I guess her teeth cured themselves, isn't that just amazing. Her dentist appointment was quite timely since they are studying healthy teeth this week in school. In fact, the tooth fairy came to visit their classroom yesterday. Did you know that she only has her magic powers at night? Yeah, me neither. She is eagerly awaiting for the first tooth to fall out but none of her teeth are budging. I just knew she would lose them early since she got them so early. I'll never figure her out.
