Our old house
Abby has been going through a funk lately. That's the only way I know how to describe it. She had been missing people and things really bad lately. The other day Marty put on a CD that Ella and Evan gave her for Christmas, Hide 'Em in Your Heart. Ella and Abby used to listen to it on the way to school most every morning. Well, Abby came into the kitchen when her favorite song came on and she was in tears. She told Marty that she missed Ella and she wanted to listen to the song in Keri's vancar (for some reason Abby calls their minivan a van car) Marty's heart broke. Then last night Abby told us that she missed our old house with the pretty flowers. Mental note: plant pretty flowers for the fall. She also said that we used to have beautiful trees. We have one lonely tree in our front yard now. She remembers and it is so sad that she is so heart broken. Marty told her that we will move back to GA in a few years and yes we will move close to Ella, Abby said "Thank you for making me so happy daddy" Poor thing.

that is so pitiful. poor abby! if it makes her feel any better, ella STILL says every nite at bedtime "make sure you call abby and tell her i love her in nashville". and evan randomly says "aah-bee, andwoo" throughout the day. they both looked at the scrapbook i made the other day...it makes them smile every time.
oh and abby probably calls our minivan "van car" cuz that is what ella calls it!!
give abby a big hug and "tiss" for us!!!!!
